Terms of Quotation

A short summary of the terms that apply to our quotations and orders. They apply unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Quotations and pricing

  • A quotation is an initial estimate, based on the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and the metal rate on the day it is issued.
  • A quotation is valid for 30 days. Final pricing is confirmed after the sample is approved.

Design and development

  • Most styles begin with a 2D colour rendering and a CAD model. A limited number of CAD modification rounds are included.
  • Some handmade styles cannot be shown in CAD and go straight to a metal sample.
  • Design and development charges are set per style and are payable 100% in advance.

Orders and payment

  • Orders are confirmed by proforma invoice, at the metal rate on the date of that invoice.
  • New customers pay 100% in advance against the proforma invoice. Credit terms may be considered after the first year of trading.
  • Changes and cancellations need our written agreement and may cost up to the full order value.

Lead times

  • Sample development typically takes 4–8 weeks, and longer for complex or handmade styles.
  • Bulk production typically takes 4–6 weeks after sample approval, and about 4 weeks for repeat orders.
  • Lead times start only once payment and final approval are in place.

Designs, CAD files and molds

  • Designs developed specifically for a client are exclusive to that client once development charges are paid. Styles from our existing collection are not exclusive.
  • CAD files and molds are held by Millennium Jewellery and used only for that client’s orders. We do not release CAD files for production elsewhere.

Quality and tolerances

  • Weight and dimensions are subject to a normal manufacturing tolerance, and we do not guarantee an exact match.
  • Natural stones vary in colour, so an exact colour match across a run cannot be guaranteed.

Packaging and extra charges

  • Standard packing is polybags with a design label, bubble wrap and metal boxes. Special or branded packaging costs extra.
  • Certificate of Origin and other export documents, and metal or gemstone certification (including third-party tests), are chargeable.

Shipping, insurance and duties

  • Goods are sold FCA Jaipur. We ship by FedEx or UPS, on the buyer’s account or ours.
  • Insurance is the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Duties and taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.

Claims and returns

  • Send a written claim with photos within 10 days of delivery.
  • Returns need our prior authorisation.
  • Our liability is limited to the invoice value.
